When Good Implants Go Bad: Recognizing and Managing Implant Complications

Date & Time:

November 12 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm PST

Description

A loose screw. A fractured abutment. A bleeding site that won’t stop. An implant that looked perfect on the day of placement and is failing a year later. If you work with implants, whether you place them, restore them, or both, it isn’t a question of if you’ll face a complication. It’s when.

This lecture is for every dentist who touches implants, from the restorative dentist seating their first implant crown to the experienced surgeon who has placed hundreds. We’ll walk through the most common complications at every stage: the implant itself, the surgery, and the prosthesis. You’ll learn how to spot the early warning signs, what to do in the moment, and when to manage it yourself versus when to refer.

Walk away with the confidence to handle problems calmly, protect your patients, and practice implant dentistry with fewer surprises.
